60 Plus
With increasing age, the body's muscle mass decreases. Reduced muscle strength may limit the ability to carry out everyday tasks, such as getting up from a chair, climbing a flight of stairs, or lifting an object from A to B.
In our "60 Plus" classes, we will exclusively work with varied and functional exercises. All with the aim of making your everyday life easier! We are not built to grow old in an armchair! By combining strength exercises, balance, coordination, mobility and endurance exercises adapted to this age group, we can guarantee uplifting results.
The class is FREE for both members and non-members. You just have to show up. Regardless of shape, colour, form and starting point: these classes are suitable for everyone - absolutely everyone! The exercises we carry out will always be adapted to you and your level. The class is led by Stefan Revang (stefan@rapida.no) - which has a long history in the industry.
PS: Did you know that strength training is the most important form of exercise as we get older. Targeted strength training will slow down the age-related loss of muscle mass and strength. It will also strengthen the skeleton and reduce the risk of osteoporosis.
The class lasts 60 minutes and is suitable for absolutely everyone... As long as you are over 60, mind you!
